NYFW: F/ W ’17 Women’s Collection

With its timeless, classic style, our NYFW F/W 2017 presentation under the creative direction of Zac Posen sets the stage for next season

Making a proud return to New York Fashion Week, we debuted our Fall/Winter 2017 women’s collection under the creative direction of fashion designer Zac Posen. Walking a circular stage on the room’s center, models were cast in a radiant splendor as sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the penthouse venue.

The collection was infused with a sense of luxury and practicality, along with a confident play of masculine and feminine. Posen’s unmistakable eye for elegance and fit was evident in everything, from updates on classics such as dresses and slender pants to the season’s new tuxedo for evening. With a wink to styles of 1960s and 1970s cinema, accompanied by music of the era, outerwear was one of the standouts of the presentation — most notably an eye-catching pearl grey cashmere-blend duffle and a Donegal tweed-inspired herringbone coat with a self-tie belt.

In keeping with our heritage, tartan and camel were prominent motifs. Accessories included bold jewelry, along with smart satchels and tote bags with a newly created “BB” embroidered detail.

“I imagined the modern Brooks Brothers woman navigating her day from office to evening,” said Posen. “She is confident, strong, but always feminine.”
